Herb Benefits
Catnip Leaves (Nepeta cataria)
Catnip is known for making cats friskier, but it has a somewhat different effect on us! It has a minty-lemony flavor that lowers the body temperature, helps dissolve excess mucous, and works to prevent inflammation.
Elder Blossoms (Sambucus nigra)
Elderberry gets most of the fame and glory. However, elder leaves and blossoms are potent and stand on their own. When taken in a warm tea, elder blossoms help open the capillaries and eliminate excess heat from the body, making it a wonderful fever reducer. It also helps with runny noses, watery eyes, and other cold and flu symptoms.
Peppermint Leaves (Mentha × piperita)
This tasty herb helps reduce fever and discomfort while boosting the immune system.
Yarrow - aerial parts (Achillea millefolium)
Herbalist Matthew Wood calls yarrow a “master of fever.” It opens up pores and induces sweating, which cools the body. Yarrow helps eliminate mucus, especially from the sinuses, and because it is anti-inflammatory, it reduces swelling.
Echinacea Leaves (Echinacea angustifolia)
Echinacea’s beautiful narrow leaves naturally support the process of eliminating cold, flu, and upper respiratory infections.

Heat water to just before boiling and pour over herbs. Cover and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
Strain and enjoy.
Teas can be refrigerated for up to 48 hours.
You can add more herbs to make a stronger tea.
For optimum flavor, use distilled or spring water.
Servings:
Ages 2-4: 1 teaspoon of tea
Ages 5-7: 1 tablespoon of tea
Ages 8-11: 2 tablespoons of tea
Ages 11+: As desired
Enjoy 1-2+ cups daily for at least three days to achieve the full benefit.
Loose leaf herbs (such as this one) can be reused the same day. The flavor profile will change, but many people prefer their second or third brew! Add a little more of the herbs to each additional blend and see what happens!
Store herbs in airtight containers in cool, dark places.
Best when used within 1 year of opening. After a year, let your nose and eyes be your guide. Over time, more of the blend is needed to have the same effect.
This blend contains child-friendly herbs.

★★★★★
“I enjoy this body lotion and its scent. It leaves my skin smooth, but wish it was more moisturizing. My skin is very dry and it helps, but it does not eliminate dryness completely.”
